Founder Story 🌿

I’m Maram. I was born and raised in Gaza.

My first memory of Nablus soap is a cube by my grandmother’s sink. That small, steady thing stayed with me.

Today, that little memory is a way to give back to my people, the children of Gaza, through your support to Resilience.

Resilience is my way of keeping that piece of home alive and putting it to work for something bigger. The same simple bar is still handmade in Nablus in a centuries-old factory. with pure olive oil, water, lye. That's it, only 3 ingredients .

We bring that soap to you, and 15% of every sale supports medical and mental health care for children in Gaza, including pediatric mental health support, amputee care, and orphan support, through the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund. This helps children receive treatment, stability, and the chance to recover beyond survival.

Why I called the brand "Resilience"

Resilience is how my family, and many families, have had to live in Gaza to deal with hardships in life that bent but didn’t break us.
Resilience is the trait I lean on while I’m far from my family and having the ache of watching from far away.

Why Nablus soap

Nablus olive oil soap is one of the oldest continuously made soaps in the world, crafted in Palestine for centuries using a simple, proven recipe: pure olive oil, water, and lye. It is organic and hand-cut in the old city of Nablus, each bar is cooked, poured, aged, and hand-cut using methods passed down through generations.

Why this specific impact

Children who live through war often learn to be brave too early. I believe it’s dangerous to grow up holding such horrible pain with no room to heal.
Medical and mental support doesn’t erase what happened, but it can help a child sleep, learn, laugh, and trust again. That’s why 15% of every sale supports therapy for children from Gaza. We share updates on our social impact page so you can see where the money goes.

Thank you for choosing something that’s good for your skin and does really good to others!
