Founder Story 🌿

I’m Maram. I was born and raised in Gaza.

My first memory of Nablus soap is a cube by my grandmother’s sink. That small, steady thing stayed with me.

Today, that little memory is a way to give back to my people, the children of Gaza, through your support to Resilience.

Resilience is my way of keeping that piece of home alive and putting it to work for something bigger. The same simple bar is still handmade in Nablus, olive oil, water, lye, cut by hand in a centuries-old factory.

We bring it to you, and we put a portion of every sale toward therapy for children from Gaza.

Why this matters

surviving isn’t the same as healing. I’ve seen how pain follows kids into sleep, school, and relationships, if no one helps carry it, this becomes dangerous and damaging to their future. Funding therapy is one way to make the day a little lighter and brighter to children of Gaza. It’s not everything. It’s a start.

Why I called the brand "Resilience"

Resilience is how my family, and many families, have had to live in Gaza to deal with hardships in life that bent but didn’t break us.
Resilience is the trait I lean on while I’m far from my family and having the ache of watching from far away.

Why Nablus soap

Nablus olive oil soap is a centuries-old Palestinian craft, pure olive oil and patient hands, carrying the heritage and resilience of a people from ancient stone presses to your home.

Why this specific impact

Children who live through war often learn to be brave too early. I believe it’s dangerous to grow up holding such horrible pain with no room to heal.
Therapy doesn’t erase what happened, but it can help a child sleep, learn, laugh, and trust again. That’s why a portion of every sale supports therapy for children from Gaza. We share updates so you can see where the money goes.

Thank you for choosing something that’s good for your skin and good for a child’s future.
